Life House Nantucket
Nearly 200 years ago, Captain Robert Calder built a Federal-style mansion atop one of the highest points on Nantucket. After experiencing generous receptions in ports across the Atlantic, he turned his home into an inn and opened its doors to travelers in 1833. We designed our House with a nod to his wife - a nonchalant innkeeper’s eclectic escape that reflects her flair for cultivating the island’s native botany and practicing holistic wellness while her Captain was out at sea.

Friday
Get settled in and head over to Cisco Brewers for a craft beer outside on the patio. Then, head over to Lola 41 for a unique sushi meal offering exquisite sushi rolls, spicy pork Bahn mi, and mouth-watering burgers for dinner. Then, enjoy a glass of wine outside in our courtyard garden.

Saturday
Wake up and head over to Lemon Press for a healthy breakfast of fresh-pressed juice, avocado toast, or a smoked salmon bagel. Then, rent bikes from Nantucket Bike Shop and bike around the island before hitting up the beach for the day. Enjoy your evening over great food (like day-caught seafood) and cocktails at Island Kitchen and finish the night over a cone at The Juice Bar.

Grab a cup of coffee at local favorite, Handlebar Cafe and walk around town and do a little shopping before hotel check-out.
